Acceptance of ELV Management: The Role of Social Influence, Knowledge, Attitude, Institutional Trust, and Health Issues

The growth of Indonesia’s automotive sector has increased the number end-of-life vehicles (ELVs), making ELV waste management a major issue. Most countries, such as Japan, China, and Europe, manage well, but developing countries still do not. In little is known about social admissions. This study analyzes acceptance in countries. Three hundred nine respondents from Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi (the district Indonesia) were surveyed cross-sectional. A set questions was designed to determine (attitude, knowledge, influence, institutional trust, health issues, acceptance). After passing validity reliability tests, hypothesized research model estimated using structural equitation. According this study, attitude, issues influenced public acceptance. variable also good moderator (Adj. R2 = 0.173, p < 0.001, average path coefficient 0.299). analysis models related found that trust play role one’s desire accept new rule, can strengthen person admission process.
